Rules and Regulations:
- All livestock must comply with the Tennessee State Livestock Health requirements for Fairs and Exhibits.
- General rules and regulations of the Anderson County Fair Association apply except as modified herein.
- The show will be Friday, July 17, 2026. Registration will open 10:00am to 1:00pm (Must be registered by 1:00pm). Show to begin at 2:00 pm.
- Entry is open to anyone that is 21 years old or under.
- Entry Fees are $10 per head (No fee for pair, pen of 4, and Flock).
- All sheep must be registered in the exhibitor’s name and recorded in the recognized record book of the breed. Registration papers will be checked.
- Double entries are NOT accepted (Ewes shown in market or commercial classes are not eligible for breeding classes).
- Any breed must have 10 or more head to have their own division. All others will Show in All Other Breeds division.
- An exhibitor can enter a maximum of 2 entries in each individual class.
- An exhibitor can enter a maximum of 2 yearling ewes/breed.
- An exhibitor can enter a maximum of 1 entry in the group classes.
- All pair & Flock classes will be ribbon only (No premium money awarded).
- All sheep must have an official Scrapie ear tag.
- All animals shall have an official veterinary health certificate.
- All exhibitors must provide care for their own animals at all times, show their own animals, and maintain their animals’ pens in an acceptable manner.
- Feed, bedding, and all equipment needed, will be the responsibility of each exhibitor. Due to space limitation, exhibitors may be required to show from their trailers.
- All rules and regulations must be adhered to or all premiums for the guilty party will be forfeited.
- We welcome all exhibitors and will make every effort to see that your stay with us is pleasant and worthwhile for you.
- Exhibitors must clean their area before leaving.
- Alcohol is prohibited on the grounds. No smoking in the barn or show arena. Animals cannot arrive to fairgrounds prior to 2 pm and must be checked in by 4 pm.
- Judges and Committee decisions are final.
