How much are the Fair Board members or workers paid?
The Fair Board is a completely volunteer organization. There are no paid members of the Anderson County Fair Association.
How much does it cost to get into the fair?
$10.00 General Admission

I would like to volunteer to help at the fair. What do I do?
Volunteers are needed in all areas of the fair. Contact a fair board member and we will put you in contact with the appropriate person for your area of interest.
What are the hours of operations for this years Fair?
The fair will open daily at 5:00 pm and Close at 10:00 pm.
When is Senior Citizens Day at the Fair?
Wednesday, July 17th is Senior Citizens day. Gates will open at 11:30 am. Seniors and their escorts get free admission to the fair grounds.
Where are the Anderson County Fair grounds located at?
The Anderson County Fair Grounds are located at 218 Nave St. in the city of Clinton, Tennessee. If you need directions click here.
Who can exhibit (enter) at the Fair?
Anyone, of any age, can exhibit at the Fair. If you were in 4-H then you would exhibit in 4-H class. If you were not in 4-H then you would exhibit in Open Class. Open Class means that the exhibits and entries are open to anyone.
How do I qualify to enter items in the Tennessee State Fair in the Best of Tennessee State Exhibits competition?
1st prize winning entries in specific categories in the 2025 Anderson County Fair may qualify for entry into the Best of Tennessee State Exhibits competition at the 2026 Tennessee State Fair in Wilson County. There are qualifying categories in the following departments: Art, Crocheting, Home Accessories, Honey, Knitting, Needlework, Photography, Quilts, Sewing and Woodworking.
Please review the Exhibit Catalog and look for items marked with “*” which indicate the item may qualify for entry. If you are a 1st place winner in a qualifying category and your item meets the TN State Fair guidelines, you will be notified by the Anderson County Fair Committee. If you agree to submit your items to the Tennessee State Fair, the Anderson County Fair Committee will transport your items to and from the Tennessee State Fair for the August 2026 competition.
